How far in advance can I make a buttercream transfer? I need it for Saturday for my daughter's b-day party but I have 3 other cakes to make this weekend so I'd like to make it in advance if possible.

As long as you wrap it once it's frozen you should be able to keep it at least a month. Carefully wrap the entire thing in foil..including the pan it's on to keep it from possibly breaking.
