I am making a spice cake this weekend and would like to add a box of pudding to the mix. Any suggestions on what flavor pudding would be good? Thanks!

That's a tricky one. I've added the pumpkin pudding mix that's out this time of year and really enjoyed the results.

I'd think vanilla or butterscotch would also work well.

I've done vanilla with spice cake before and it works great! If you can get a butterscotch one, that would probably be that hint of yumminess that no one can pick up on so it would probably work well as well .

Thanks! Butterscotch never even crossed my mind! I had thought about vanilla but was afraid it would dull the flavor of the spice cake a bit. I didn't even know there was such a thing as pumpkin pudding! Thanks again!
