Hi, I wanted to try and make some petit fours for my nieces bridal shower this week-end and I am very confused about this liquid fondant. Is it a special recipe or regulare fondant microwaved down to a liquid? Can anyone give me some info on this and how hard it is to work with? Thank you much.

the best recipe for petit four icing i have found is actually here on cake central, its called "petit four glaze" by suzycakes and is in the frosting section of the recipes tab:

The icing is very easy to thin out and tastes delicious with the little bit of chocolate melted in icon_biggrin.gif hope this helps!

Here's Peggy Porschen's recipe in a thread. She's the queen of petit fours.

And, a different take from cakejournal.com
