My daughter is turning 21 soon. She's been saying forever she wants to have margaritas and fajitas. I'd love to make her a really cool cake but I'm not sure if my idea will work....thanks for any help! I really would like to do it entirely out of cake. Carved bowl with cake board on bottom for support , stem- dowel covered in cake, carved cake for base. Butter cream to cover all.......lime flavored of course. How do I make sure there is enough support to stack the top layer?

Thanks in advance!
Nancy

Hey!

I found this margarita cake on here for you! Maybe you could ask this CC member how they made it?

If you can't get it to be a 3D tall cake - maybe just make a fabulous fondant cake - with flat or 3d margarita glasses on top of the cake made out of fondant/gumpaste?!

Cupcakes - Margarita style:
