Can 7-minute frosting be frozen once the cake is iced? Also, does it work well under fondant? I'll be covering a 3-tier cake in fondant tonight and I have been having terrible luck with my frostings lately.
I wouldn't use it under fondant as this icing tends to get like rubber when it sets up.If I remember correctly almost like marshmellow...I'm not sure about freezing either but I would venture to say I wouldn't do it..Maybe someone else can jump in here and clarify that!
7 minute frosting only is good for about a day on a cake. I would not try to freeze it nor would I use it under fondant.
