Hello All!
I'm making a 1/2 sheet cake for a Halloween Party my in-laws are throwing on Saturday. Originally it was just going to be just basic white base frosted, with purple or black cob webs all over it with 2 huge plastic (Hey, I'm still learning..lol) spiders and then a few little ones running around.

Now I am thinking I want to have one of the spiders climbing it's way out of the cake, using ground up cookies as "dirt" around him, but now I'm not sure how to decorate the rest of the cake. I don't know how cohesive it would look if it's all cob webs, then a mound of dirt... Any ideas? I'd greatly appreciate any ideas. I did do a few searches and came up with nothing, surprisingly.

Thanks in advance, off to do more searching!

U could put tombstones and make it look like a graveyard?
U can make edible graves with fondant, and still have spooky spiders!
