Hi,

I'd like to tint my fondant in advance. Is there a chart that will tell me how much fondant I need to cover a 10" round tier? It will be 4" high.

Thanks!

No one has mentioned Earlene's Web site recently. There is a wealth of information there - including a fondant chart. http://www.earlenescakes.com/Fondantchart.html

I recommend this site as a go to for all sorts of information on cake decorating.

According to the Satin Ice web site:
http://www.satinfinefoods.com/product.htm

Cake Diameter Net Weight
6"................................................10 oz.
8"................................................12 oz.
10"..............................................18 oz.
12"..............................................24 oz.
14"..............................................48 oz.
