Can You Put Food Colouring In Marzipan?

I want to make little bees, and I was wondering if I bought a bunch of marzipan, could I colour it yellow in order to make their little bodies?

YES YOU CAN... making bees from marzipan was my first try. I think I got the idea from Martha Stewart when she did fruits on one of her wedding cakes.
