has anyone sold on etsy? If so what was your experience? I'm interested in branching out to new venues, but wondered if it would be worth the trouble. Any thoughts will be much appreciated! icon_smile.gif

I sold on Etsy, (non cake) so did my sister and sister in law. It's a great site, and I buy from there all the time - I did feel as though my stuff got buried on there, the site does not do any type of promotion and there are A LOT of people looking to "barter" with you - the three of us laugh about it all the time - how many emails you get with things like, I'll trade you x amount of my soap for x amount of your jewelry. The selling fees are pretty low and the site is easy to use, so give it a try!

I tried selling cookies on Etsy, but never got any actual sales, just quite a few people emailing questions and never actually placing an order. It is quite cheap though, so it might be worth a try for you.
