My client's wedding colors are ivory and aubergine (deep, dusty purple). How do I acheive the right colors? I do not wish to purchase "ivory" coloring for one cake order. I have attempted to combine red and blue to get purple but get a really ugly shade of gray. Please help, the cake is due in two days.

purchase the violet and ivory colours - my advice. mixing colours is no joke when you have to add same to fondant. you will have to add a lot of violet.
