Hello CCer's!

I have a heart cake in the oven right now. I want to do a fall themed cake. (Yeah, on a heart. lol) What colors would you reccomend? Should I leave my base color white, or should I color it orange or something? I am using all BC. Then, would I do brown twigs and orange, yellow, and red leaves??? I haven't really ever done a fall cake before, so I'm totally scared.

What do you think about making my base coat orange or something like that? Will it look weird or to bright?

I need any kind of advice! Please don't tell me to do fondant. I don't like the way it tastes, and I don't have any. Please help! Thank you soooo much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You could also use orange, gold, and brown (chocolate) to make mums. Use tip 5 for the center and tip 81 for the petals.

I would tint the BC for the cake itself to a warm color--pale yellow, gold, even tan/light brown. A white base color would be too harsh if your decorations are all warm fall colors.
