I'm going to be helping out at our local pecan patch November and December and they want me to make things out of pecans to sell there. I've seen the pecan pie in a jar you can purchase and add eggs and butter to. I can't find a recipe on line for it. I'm thinking I may just take my pecan pie recipe and make it and see how it turns out.

Any thoughts? Anybody with a recipe for it?? Thanks!

i love things in a jar! found these two for cookies and muffins: http://www.craftbits.com/project/chocolate-pecan-cookie-mix http://www.craftbits.com/project/pecan-mini-muffin-mix
but for your pie, i think it is as simple as just taking out the wet stuff!

Thanks! I hadn't found those recipes yet, and will be making some dry mixes to sell as well. I'm thinking I'll just make my usual (delicious!!) pecan pie filling without the eggs and butter.

I'm still open to ideas/suggestions if anyone else has any!
