I obviously dont have the right consistancy or something because I have made two tiaras so far and both just crumble when I try to remove the parchment. Can anyone tell me what the consistancy of the Royal Icing should be when I mix it?
Making tiarias in royal is hard. It is very delicate and breaks easy. Did it crumble after drying? How many times did you pipe the ri on the crown? I did one before and the ri crown broke easily. I finally was able to glue one together but for the 2nd one, I did it in candy melts. Much better for me.
The first one I piped three times and it broke after I waited several days for it to dry, the second one I piped twice and it broke 24 hours after sitting, when I tried to remove it from the parchment. Ive never used candy melts before, will I be able to make leaves with them? Im making the tiara to look like its wood with green leaves because the theme of the cake is Safari Princess.
