I have a birthday cake to prepare for this weekend. So every night I have been doing a bit more of the prep work. I just realised tonight that I am making my fondant (with some tylose) accents and setting them to dry flat. But my cake will be round, and they will be going on the sides. Is there any way I can soften the fondant enough to make it flex so that it can re-shape itself around the side of the cake? five seconds in the microwave maybe, or will that destroy it? Or if it won't destroy it, will five seconds be enough?
I think once they're dry, they're dry. I don't think there is anything you can do with them now. Sorry
