I have seen many great Woodie cakes here on cc. I have a Woody cake to make and was wondering how you all made the red stitches in his shirt?

Thanks!

Hi there. I did my red stitching with some red colour gel (diluted with vodka) and a fine tipped paintbrush.

Guess it depends on how big he is going to be, that worked with my small Woody topper. If it's a bigger project you could create stitching by lining up small lengths of finely cut fondant to form stitches or pipe it on with royal icing.

Actually it's going to be a number 1 for a first birthday. Mom bought a woody figurine to stand by it. I thought I'd make rope for the border.
