Must cream cheese icing be SO freakin' yummy but SO hard to deal with?! Okay, that is all, night night!

I would suggest trying a different recipe, or playing with the one you have. I have found that cream cheese icing handles the same as buttercream. Are you putting enough powdered sugar in it? It seems a lot of people have their cr ch icing too soft and have problems from that. Stick with it, the taste is so worth it!

Mine acts the same way too. I found mine by googling crusting cream cheese icing and finding one with lots of great reviews... so my first try was a keeper.

Is your recipe for a very soft cream cheese icing? I personally use Edna's crusting cream cheese recipe that handles extremely well...honestly, it's just as easy to work with as any other bc.

But there are lots of great cream cheese icing recipes out there....maybe you should try one and see if it's easier for you to handle. icon_smile.gif
