Sorry to hear that!

As far as your questions, that's probably something your doctor can answer best.

I have COPD and I work in a bakery and do cakes. I have a home nebulizer and a daily controler and a fast acting inhalor and take steroids and have codine cough syrup. When I have a flare up I make sure I wear a mask and wash my hands frequently, I stay hydrated and take breaks when needed. I also have a hepa air filter at the bakery. I was born with broncular asthum and have found that there is nothing I can't do if I put my mind to it. I have had two children, climed a mountain, and taught my children to swim. Discuss your options with your docoter and get a good respitory therapist.
