What's wrong with my buttercream icing? After I have started decorating, it turn colors in my bag. It has white speck in it, which I am assuming is shortening dividing in the bag. As I decorate, my icing comes out multi-colored and speckled. What can I do about this?

Can you post your recipe?

Do you use salt in your recipe? If so, change to popcorn salt, or dissolve your salt completely in the liquid you use before adding it in the recipe. HTH
