I made these cupcakes tonight with the intention of delivering tonight. Well, she wants them delivered to the school tomorrow instead. I know, I know, contract, contract. But I just made these as a last minute favor for a friend of a friend, so no contract.

Anyway, would it be ok to leave the crayons and chalkboards on the cupcakes for the night in the fridge, or should I remove them? The icing does have a small amount of cream cheese, so I am unsure about leaving them out all night until tomorrow afternoon when they will be eaten.

What do you think? I would hate to have limpy crayons and a sunken chalkboard in the morning!

Here is a link to the photo.

Cute design

I agree, I think they will be fine. I have refrigerated both fondant & gumpaste ornaments without any problems

Great. Thanks guys. I have refirgerated mine too, but I was worried since they aren't completely supported. That would be alot of wasted time. Those crayons took forever!!!!
