I'm making 40 cupcakes for favors for a friend's bridal shower. Would you transport them as usual and box them onsite, or would you put them in the favor boxes ahead of time and transport them that way?

Oh, and I just saw the favor boxes. They are 3 inches deep and wide, and there is no way to assemble the box around the cupcake. Does anyone have any tricks to frost them inside the box?

how are u frosting them? buttercream or fondant? fondant u could just set them in after decorating , buttercream, i would let the frosting crust for a few hours before setting them in the boxes.

It will actually be Bettercreme on top.

i would put a glue dot on the bottom of the cupcake (like for scrapbooking) set the bare cupcake in the package and then ice with bettercreme. I would do this before transporting so you don't have to do all that on site.
