How did you learn to make 3D figures?

All of the figures on your cakes are so adorable!

Did you teach self from books, classes or other?
What are best sources to learn from? Any real good you tube video's out there? Could you please share links, names of books, etc.

I have been working my way thought Ann Pickard's book 'Cake Characters'. The designs are very basic, perfect for beginners. the last two photos in my gallery are from her book if you want to have a peek.

i think the best place to learn is from polymer clay books and tutorials, they are sooo easy to find online. the CC version for polymer clay is my SIL used to do clay sculpting and that site was a wealth of information for her.

You can also search youtube for aine2. She makes great tutorials!
