hi all, I'm making cut out cookies for a five year old girl and wanted to do a strawberry and vanilla combination.

I'm going to make the modified nfsc recipe and mmf. I was wondering what your suggestions are straw. cookie/ vanilla mmf or vanilla cookies with straw mmf. I've never had or made a strawberry cookie so I don't know which would have a wow factor. Should I add vanilla and strawberry to the dough? Any suggestions or recipes are appreciated.

If you're wanting cut out cookies; you could roll them at half thickness, spread one with strawberry jam, and top with second cookie for sandwich cookies.

My mom used to color and flavor cookies with KoolAid or Jello.

Thanks 7yyrt. I'm making round cookies with her monogram and polka dots; so no sandwhich cookies this time.
