Does anyone have a great recipe for pumpkim buttercream? I am thinking of adding canned pumpkin and cinnamon and nutmeg to the usual recipe that I use. I think this may be great on a white or yellow cake, and want it to try this weekend. Any ideas?

I've never made pumpkin buttercream...but you can make reaallly good pumpkin mousse using pumpkin butter, I don't see why it wouldn't work for icing as well. You can get pumpkin butter from William-Sonoma or make your own using pumpkin puree.

I would use pumpkin butter or the pumpkin coffee creamer as mentioned. I wouldn't add canned pumpkin.
