I remember seeing someone do a denim cake and if I remember correctly they painted on the blue which gave it the denim look. Probably doesn't help a whole lot, but hope it helps

I color my fondant a light blue (I like CK Country Blue) then paint on a darker shade of the same color for the denim look.

I think I once used delphinium blue...it gives you the more faded color, not the dark blue

do you mix the color with everclear, or vodka?

I would try it on a scrap piece of fondant...add some vodka to the color, paint it on and use a textured papertowel to pat off...you should get the denim look

Either will work, but everclear will dry faster since it is a higher proof.

And just remember, if it gets to stressful you can always take a shot icon_smile.gif
