I have a friend that asked me to make a cake and the main part of the cake would be a glass of milk. How can I make this cake, so that the top 1/4 of the cake looks like glass and you can distinguish it between the milk and glass?? (The cake will be covered in white fondant) Does this make sense? Does anyone have any suggestions/ideas? I'd appreciate the help. Thanks so much!
Use gelatine. It is edible, clear and flexible. Make a sheet of this and wrap it around the cake. The white will show through the gelatine. I have never tried this but it was just a thought.
