I have made single bouquets before but for a larger job which method do y'all prefer to use. I just used the styrofoam ball because I hadn't known of any other method. Now that I see the cups I am all confused. Which do you prefer and why? Thanks!

p.s. this is for my uncle's 80th birthday party, I am a hobbyist not a professional.

I used the plastic cup method for the first time and it was wonderful.. I have used the styrofoam before and ended up loosing some cupcakes so I am sticking with the cups!

I dont get how you affix the cup structure into the pot. Do you still put styrofoam under it but then glue it down? I feel like I am missing a key part of the plan. I am making 10 separate bouquets with 8-10 cupcakes per arrangement. I think I will frost and assemble on site but I want to either set up the cups or have the picks and styro ready to go before hand.

Here's a link to a cupcake bouquet tutorial using the cup method by KHalstead:

Hope this helps.
