Earthquake cupcakes!

1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. coconut
¾ c. chocolate chips
½ c. butter
1 t. vanilla
8 oz. cream cheese
2 c. powdered sugar
1 chocolate cake mix plus ingredients on box

Preheat Oven: 350°

Ok, is A3/4 c. chocolate chips and A1/2 c butter 1 3/4 cups and 1 1/2 cups?

This is a recipe I have for Earthquake cake...the ingredients are pretty close to your recipe so according to this it should be 3/4 c. choc chips and 1/2 c. butter. Hope this helps... icon_smile.gif

Earthquake Cake
Ingredients
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped nuts
1 Devils Food cake mix
1-8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 t. vanilla
2 c. powdered sugar
3/4 c. chocolate chips

Directions
Grease a 9×13 inch pan. Sprinkle coconut and nuts on the bottom of the pan. Mix cake according to directions on box. Pour over coconut and nuts. Combine cream cheese, butter, vanilla and powdered sugar. Drop by spoonfuls over cake mix. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes.
