Hi.... whats wrong with my fondant flowers etc., they seem to go soft after a day or 2? also why do you need to add Tylose or glucose to fondant?
sorry if this has already been covered i'm new to this.

Adding tylose to fondant makes it stiffer, more like gumpaste, so it is easier to hold its shape and it hardens faster. I don't know about adding glucose. Adding glycerine will soften the fondant more, so you don't want to do that to make flowers, figures, etc.

About your flowers softening after a couple of days, are you storing them in an airtight container. To allow fondant to harden, it needs to be out in the open air so it can dry out.

Hope this helps!
