Hi, I am look for someone who has been in Illinois and has experience with this stuff. I have been making cakes from home for friends and family, and before I take this any further I want to make sure I don't get in trouble for anything. Any information on the subject would be helpful. Thanks

I don't think in the state of IL you can sell from home...you need a seperate kitchen, etc. I'd call your local health department and get the answer straight from the "horses mouth" so to speak. icon_wink.gif

Check this thread:

You cannot sell baked goods made in your home kitchen in IL, although some counties allow baking from a separate kitchen on your property as long as there is an outside entrance.
