I may have posted this in the wrong forum...so, I moved it here.
I have been asked to make a light and airy wedding cake filled with strawberry cream.....she suggested an Angel food cake. I have never made one and do not know how it will hold up stacked. It is a small cake...45 people! 8" & 10" or 8" & 12"....any help would be appreciated. Does anyone have a recipe??
If you haven't made one before i personally suggest 1) practice a scratch recipe if that's what you plan on using, it is too easy to over mix it and not have it rise properly or 2) use the box mix (pretty much no fail)
