Can U Put Fondent Over A Cheesecake?

hey there, i'm just starting out makeing cakes/decorating them an i have a question...
i LOVE cheesecake an was wondering if someone asked me to, could i put fondent over it an decorate it?
PLEASE help me out lol

I have seen it done on Amazing Wedding Cakes. Before that, I wasn't sure if you could do it either. There's pictures up on the site below.

Yep. Thin coat of buttercream (I like SMBC) in between and you are good to go.

I have done it before - you have to keep the cake cold, but it worked just fine as long as you don't make the fondant really thick.

I love the link Navyempress - and I don't think Reva looks anything like Duff! LOL thumbs_up.gif

Yes my poker cake was done in fondant cheese cake under a strawberry filling and I use Riches BetterCream, and fondant on top came out perfect... thumbs_up.gif
