What can I put on the edible image to get the sanding sugar to stick? Corn syrup or is that too gooey? I don't think I can do water, right? I saw the cookies on Fancy Flours website, but they don't say what they used.

Thank you.

If you paint liquid on your edible image you will ruin it, I would place the edible imagine on fresh flooded RI wait a bit for the moisture to surface to the image then sprinkle with the sanding sugar.

Brush on piping gel very lightly, then shake the sanding sugar on top.
