That was the request of my customer. 4 dozen cupcakes with chocolate icing that doesn't melt or smear to be exact... I thought about the magic shell stuff. Has anyone tried that? I mean, I generally just do ganache or chocolate buttercream. But both of those can smear... Idk....Does anyone have any other suggestions?
I dont know any chocolate frosting that wouldnt melt or smear LOL
I would go with Chocolate Fondant... Satin Ice has one that is easy to work with and tastes like a tootsie roll
