I am new to Cake Central and to cake decorating in general. I am trying to make a cake for a friend whose son will be deploying soon. Her one request is that it have an American flag on it. I have died my fondant blue and red and letting them "season" for a few hours. My question..how do I put them together? I am doing white and red in 1 inch strips, so do I lay them out and "roll" them together? Or is it best to lay down a white piece and lay the blue star section and red stripes on top? Looking for easy as well as pretty...Thank you so much!
