I'm dealing with a guy who has decided last minute (as in the party is this Saturday) that he isn't doing the 3D guitar he wants because I won't do it in black butter cream and he doesn't want fondant.

So: I need help with ideas for a sheet cake that incorporates the following

Well she's turning 40 so I would like to incorporate that somehow. Her favorite flowers are daisies. The party has a 80's big hair band theme. She loves animals.

I'm not really coming up with anything good and he is starting to get on my last nerve.

No help? Please?

Farm animals with 80"s wigs frolicking around in a field of daisies?? Lol sorry, I suck for buttercream sheet ideas. Can you do little gumpaste figures? Maybe you can do an aanimal band? If nothing else, I wanted to help you stay n the home page...I just woke up but maybe I'll have a moment of inspiration once I get out of bed.

In all honesty, tell him you can't incorporate every little detail in ONE cake. I'd likely stick with the 80s theme and the 40, if those are the party elements.

What's about a pillowcake, with a bunch of daisy's or with a floral wreath from daisys.

Any idea what is her favorite 80's hair band? That might help start some creative juices. I"m in my early 40's and some of the most popular bands in those days was Bon Jovi, Poison, Motley Crue, and Warrant. But, there are many others.....

Well...he called and cancelled. Turns out he's an hour from here, and didn't feel like driving out here tonight to pay for the cake before I bake.

I didn't feel comfortable taking a last minute order for a custom cake and taking no payment until he picks it up.

I don't take credit cards, so he cancelled.
