Hi there, I'm new to the boards here. A friend told me about this great site. I am looking for a great cupcake recipe with icing to make for my grandmother's b-day. Any ideas? I've checked around on the recipe board didn't really find much of what I was searching for.

Just use the WASC vanilla cake recipe posted in recipes under vanilla/white cakes. It's awesome!! VERY HIGHLY RATED TOO!
Buttercream icing with the 1/2 crisco and 1/2 butter, idebyi's recipe under icings/white icing category. Top rated too!
