Specifically, I have these questions:
1) What recipe is used for the sugar/beer?
2) How do you attach the can?
3) What do you use/how do you make the foam?
I used 1/2 cup white sugar, 1/2 cup corn syrup. Mix well. Microwave 50% power for 6 minutes stir then microwave full power for 1-2 minutes watch because it can burn fast.
Keep in mind that this is very hot and can burn you badly....
Used the same recipe to attach the can, but let it cool for a few minutes then pour it onto a wooden dowel (which is up into the can and long enough to go into the cake) attach the can to the top of the dowel before it hardens. Sometimes I put a piece of foil on the end of the dowel that is in the can to keep it from moving around.
The foam, I just used buttercream icing

love that cake! how did you get the impressionon the side of mug, to look perfect? and how did you get your handle fondant to stick in the cake without dragging or falling?
that is not my cake the you are looking at, I just posted a picture of mine.
The handle I used long tooth picked or fondo sticks, and made it out of sugar also
Really need to know HOW to attach the beer can, and HOW to make the foam look like foam. Thanks!
