I made a batch of RI last Tuesday and it has been in the fridge ever since. Still ok to use or should I toss it?
Also, do I have to rebeat it a little once it has been refrigerated?
I have always been told never to refrigerate royal icing! I have 2 batches on my counter right now, they should last a few weeks at room temperature. HTH!
I agree with jo- I leave mine out for up to 3 weeks and just remix...If you use egg whites the answer might be different. I use meringue powder..
