i'm in dire need of a solution.. of course im time crunched & well .. i feel like i've tried everything!
I made a cream cheese icing from butter,veg short.,8 oz cream cheese & 3 1.5 lb powdered sugar..
I infused half the batch with cinnamon
& half the batch with mashed bananas.
The cinnamon is semi holding with the 1M tip -i'm praying it crusts before I arrive to my destination
but the banana I can't even pipe on!!!
is there anything I can use to make the banana frosting more stiff???

Can you add some marshmallows (melted) to thicken it up?
Or, maybe, some gelatin, or more powdered sugar?
Powdered sugar is first choice, but you can also add some cornstarch. Not a lot, and not so you can taste it, but it will bind the moisture.
PS, next time for banana frosting just add a couple of drops of Lorann banana creme flavor. yum!
