Hi everyone,
Someone has approached me to make them a car cake (Specifically the shape of an XY Ford Falcon)
I was just wondering if anyone has any tips on how to go about it... Would you just bake a square cake and then carve it??
Any other tips would be much appreciated, Thankyou!! Sarah

I made two cakes, and no a lot of what you don't want to do ...mine are not too good...you can see for yourself lol...
make certain you have good support under it, my first one flattened all four tires....use a template to cut the car, it is so much easier...

join e blueprint site, then search for your car, then get the side angle re size it tape it to cardboard, and carve the cake very chilled....good luck

And another one:

I can't tell you what to do, but sometimes it becomes easier when you see one made with cake by someone else, instead of the real thing.
