I am making my friends daughters birthday cake and she want me to make a six inch high lemon cake using BC lemon cake mix adding one box of instant lemon pudding and using lemon juice for all of the water. Plus she wants me to make a powdered sugar lemon glaze for a filling, lemon butter cream. The cake will be covered in fondant. She swears by this recipe. Do you think that's to much lemon juice? Should I not add the lemon juice as requested and just let her think I did. What would you ladies and gents do?
