Alright, I have three cake orders for this weekend. One that is due Saturday, one that is due Sunday, and another that is due Monday. I usually make these cakes the night before, or early that morning. However, for the cake that is due on Monday, it is needed very early in the morning. I don't think that I have time to do this cake on Sunday, could I do this cake on Saturday night? If not, I may be able to bake it Saturday night, and frost early Sunday morning? What would be best?
I think it is fine to do it on Saturday. I have done it once or twice myself with no issues. Also, I have had people pick up the cake two days before it was needed, so, the sitting time was the same or more. As long as it is stored properly, there isn't a problem at all with doing it on Saturday. In my experience of course...
