When I made my first cake this weekend not all of the cakes came out exactly the same shape on the bottom. I had to add in pieces of cake o get it all even all the way around.When I layered my cake this made it uneven. When I tried to cut around the cake in a circle most of the time I just ended up ripping the cake with the knife and creating a bigger mess. Can anyone tell me how they get their cakes all the same shape so when you layer it you have nice even sides?
