Hi
I've been a member of the site for a while but this is my first post icon_redface.gif

I'm pretty new to cake decoration but my friend has asked me to make her wedding cake (eeeek!) and she wants a stacked cake with cigarellos (sp?) and maltesers.

I can make the cakes and understand about stacking them but my question is, when I have made the cakes, do I need to cover them with fondant before I place the cigarellos around the outside?

Thanks in advance for your replies x

You do not need to cover the cakes in fondant - you can put the cigarellos directly on buttercream.

Ditto!
You do the same for chocolate panels, total time saver! Have fun!
