Does anyone have experience doing an airplane cake? icon_rolleyes.gif I'm thinking of doing the wings with rice crispies, but am concerened they might be too fragile. Any ideas or recipes? Are there any pjotos here on CC? ANY advice is appreciated! Thank you! icon_smile.gif

I have never done one, but when I searched the site, there were a few. One said the wings were made out of foamboard and covered in fondant. I would try the search and see what else you can find.

I've never done one, but these are the ones I have in my links file for airplanes. Sometimes, if you read the comments, you can get ideas on what to use. I would say you could use pastillage since it dries quick and very hard.
