Does anyone have any ideas of how I can get better pics of my cakes? right now I just use a black posterboard but sometimes i feel when I go back and look at my pics they dont look as good as they did in person....

i've seen people use different color backgrounds for different cakes...is this something I should do to enchance the pictures? thanks in advance for any help and suggestions
