I have made a fondant fondant/gumpaste shoe. A 50/50 mix.
I made it this past monday, and it is to go on a cake saturday (2/oct )
we have had several days of rain, and it is still "soft"
Any solutions would help

I have heard putting it in the oven with the light on (dont turn on the oven temp) and let it sit will help speed up the drying process.

When I need to dry something fast I put it on a bed of cornstarch (it helps suck out the moisture and put it under a desk lamp.
