Im 45 now and plan on leaving my full time job in a yr, retiring from the professional work force corporately at 47,as the house is paid for, my rental homes pay all my other bills, so winding down actually and will just be doing cakes/confections in a couple yrs, Ive built up quite a good retirement portfolio over my yrs, so moneys not an issue with me to live comfortably.
