I am new to this whole thing. I have started making cakes and now people are asking me to make fondant people. I have no idea of where to start. I made 1 batch of homemade marshmallow fondant. It was too sticky. I had a request for toy story 3 cake with the characters standing up. I have no clue. Please help.

Wow , Thats going to take practice . I started watching tutorials on youtube icon_smile.gif just search on youtube making fondant characters icon_smile.gif your fondant didnt have enough ps or to much liquid icon_smile.gif

You'll also want to add some gum-tex to your fondant for making figures. It will help it harden better.

One of the things that helped me was the polymer clay books on making animals, people, etc.
