I'm so dissapointed! I took them to a party last night and evidently, the lemon cake recipe that I use does not work well for cupcakes and the meringue was sticky - I'm guessing maybe from the humidity. On the upside, the lemon filling was great.
Dang, that's too bad. Were they really bad or was there just so much food that people didn't eat as many? Well, that's what experimentation is for, huh?
it's not that they were bad. My husband heard someone say that the meringue was too sweet and sticky. There was a lot of food there too but mostly rice krispie treats and the like. Bak to the drawing board on this one I guess. I've already told a few of the people whose opinions I really care about that they get a do-over
